DESCRIPTION

T.C. 206 is a powdered detergent designed for immersion cleaning of soft metals such as brass, aluminum and zinc. T.C. 206 is suitable either for conventional soak tank cleaning or for use in ultrasonic cleaning equipment.

PROPERTIES

T.C. 206 is nearly neutral in pH; therefore. it will not stain or discolor soft metal components. T.C. 206 is a non-silicate, contains NO PHOSPHATES and the detergent portion is 100% biodegradable. Due to the low alkalinity of T. C. 206, it is very easily rinsed, rendering the component quite suitable for further processing without streaks or stains.

CONDITIONS OF USE

Concentration 1 to 6 oz/gal depending upon soil load and contact time
Application Conventional soak or ultrasonic
Temperature 130° to 180°F
Time As required
Equipment Mild steel tank, stainless steel ultrasonic units

Vary the above conditions as required, to obtain the optimum results.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Although T.C. 206 is nearly neutral and considered non-toxic, prolonged contact with the skin or eyes should be avoided. In case of accidental contact, flush contacted areas repeatedly with water and see a physician if irritation persists.
