T.C. 1116 |
DESCRIPTION
T.C. 1116 is an emulsion cleaner formulated to afford increased solvency over most conventional cleaners of this type. It is low foaming and contains special rust inhibiting ingredients.
OPERATION
T.C. 1116 is recommended for removal of such soils as oil, grease and dirt that are commonly encountered in general cutting and machining practices. T.C. 1116 should be used at room temperature at up to 150° F in either spray or dip-type applications. Due to this cleaner's ability to withstand a wide temperature range and its adaptability to both spray and dip-type equipment, it eliminates the necessity of using two or more products to do the same job. Ferrous parts processed through T.C. 1116 will be provided with a thin rust preventive film that will prevent corrosion during normal in-plant storage for varying periods of time, depending on humidity conditions.
