T.C. 1107

DESCRIPTION

A dry, granular, specially compounded mixture of mildly alkaline salts.

APPLICATION

For use in rinse solutions following alkaline power spray, soak tumbling, vibratory or barrel finishing or cleaning operations or in any other process where rust inhibition of clean steel surfaces is required during periodic indoor storage or inspection. T.C. 1107 is also highly recommended as a neutralizer and rust preventive following acid pickling operations.

PROPERTIES

T.C. 1107 is high in rust inhibition properties. It will not stain or corrode steel parts processed. T.C. 1107 leaves a thin, almost imperceptible film on the metal surfaces that acts as a barrier to rusting and scaling under normal indoor conditions of storage. This film may be readily removed by simple rinsing, if necessary, prior to subsequent finishing operations.

CONDITIONS OF USE

Adjust the above conditions, if necessary, to provide optimum results.

HANDLING

T.C. 1107 is only mildly alkaline, but avoid prolonged skin or eye contact. Do not allow T.C. 1107 to remain in contact with organic or oxidizable material for an extended length of time.
